Science Club Instructors
Science Club instructors are responsible for implementation of our after-school science enrichment programs. This is a part-time position. The programs are conducted at local public and private elementary schools and sessions last approximately one hour.
Detailed lesson plans and all supplies are provided. Instructors will be accountable for following ClubScientific's guidelines for operation as well as respecting and protecting the ClubScientific Brand. This includes wearing our signature Tie-dyed lab coats!
Science Club instructors must hold a college degree (doesn't have to be in science), and have some experience working with children. All candidates must submit to a background check and be able to commit to the multiple week school enrichment program at the location(s) you have been assigned. Candidates must attend a comprehensive training program.
Some instructors will also be given the opportunity to be the "Scientist" at our ClubScientific birthday parties, assemblies, in-school field trips, and scouting workshops.

The benchmark of a successful summer camp experience and what a child remembers most about their camp experience is usually the camp's staff members. ClubScientific's summer camps provide an exciting and safe atmosphere for children, while exploring the world of science. All of our camps take the job of teaching and caring for children seriously!
ClubScientific demands that all staff positions be filled with candidates who exhibit the following characteristics:
- High work ethic (completing the job with an excellent attitude!)
And above all ... an absolute love for children, desire to make sure the camper has an unforgettable camp experience/memory, and a genuine interest in science!
NOTE: If you do not exhibit these characteristics, then Camp Staff is not for you! Our camp day is filled with many science activities and our classrooms are normally sold out! Our camper to staff ratio is 9:1.
Our Camp Directors are responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the Day Camp Site, including the supervision of all lead teachers, camp counselors, and campers. Director Candidates, along with meeting the criteria listed above, must have experience in leadership and risk management.
Camp Directors will be accountable for following ClubScientific's guidelines for operation as well as respecting and protecting the ClubScientific brand. Camp Directors will report directly to the owners of ClubScientific.
All Candidates must have a college degree, submit to a background check, and be able to commit to the multiple week camp program at the location you have been assigned.
Candidates must (no exceptions) attend our 4 day paid training session!
Our Camp Counselors must have completed one year of college, successfully, and be enrolled for the following fall semester. Our goal each year is to recruit the best possible Camp Counselors from college campuses all over Georgia and surrounding states. We will implement a four-step process to help us reach our goal of hiring camp counselors that will not only demonstrate a love for children, but will protect our respected ClubScientific brand.
Camp Counselors will be role models for our campers and will take this job seriously by providing a positive and friendly interaction with the campers in an environment that allows the campers to feel safe, comfortable and excited about the task at hand. Therefore, Camp Counselors (along with meeting the criteria listed above) must be highly energetic and demonstrate that they too are enjoying the camp experience!
All ClubScientific staff will complete a mandatory, comprehensive, paid training program that will include on-line and classroom training. Topics for the training will include:
- Camper safety
- Emergency response
- Curriculum expertise
- Classroom management
- Camper-to-camper relationships
- Fostering self-esteem
- Implementation of lesson plans and projects
- Science inquiry skills
- Process skills
- Training for all outdoor activities
- Protecting the ClubScientific brand
